"Serrai" is the small area where this Superior Prosecco comes from, near Valdobbiadene, right on the slopes of the hills of Vidor.
The vintage takes place quite late in the season, in the first days of October.
The grapes are pressed very gently and the wine is made carefully controlling temperature, so that the the characteristic flavour and aroma typical of Prosecco grapes can be best maintained.
The result is a pleasantly fruity sparkling wine, with a fresh aroma.
This sparkling Superior Prosecco can be appreciated almost in every occasion. A few tasty hints: sea fruit and green asparagus risotto, oven-baked scallops wrapped with raw ham from Sauris, bites of stewed bacon and dried plum.
