The family winery of La Todera is located in Vidor, near Valdobbiadene a country town in the province of Treviso. Its hilly terrain is lapped by the flow of the river piave, acting as a border between the river plain and the Belluno dolomite mountains. On those hills, along the road of Prosecco DOCG Valdobbiadene, began our history as wine producers. Seventy years ago, our great-grandfather bepi started professional cultivation of grapes using skills and traditions of our area which have been handed down for generations. Thanks to the teachings of bepi, his grandson pietro mastered the difficult art of grape’s cultivation to produce the finest prosecco wine. Their hard work, together with a combination of traditions & technology, has permitted us to achieve very high levels of quality. Our vineyards count now more than fifty hectares of the finest prosecco hills in the area Valdobbiadene-Conegliano, but we are still working with the same traditional principles that make our wine absolutely unique. Today the winery is still owned by Vettoretti family. Pietro, with his sons Renato and Paolo are the master winemakers. Through their skill and knowledge are able to produce the some of the best couveé of prosecco sparkling wine. The commercial side is managed by Gabriella. |

Mamma Mirella still remain the heart of our company and, of course, of our family. During the harvest, we participate all together using only our hands to pick the grapes from plants. This means that the grapes are carefully collected so only the very essence of the fruit is used. Afterwards the grapes are transported to the new cellar where they are pressed and fermented at low temperatures in order to preserve and emphasize the characteristic aromas of the prosecco. | |
