WINEGROWERS BORN AND RAISED IN THE CHARMING VALDOBBIADENE HILLS

Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, which spans 15 hilly municipalities between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, is the historical area that produces this sparkling wine. The steep slopes, the characteristics of the environment, the composition of the soil, as well as the history and tradition make this territory unique and perfect for the production of the Glera grape variety.
The Cartizze area is nestled among the steepest hills in the municipality of Valdobbiadene. It is a tiny area of 107 hectares of land where the grapes are grown for the renowned Cartizze sparkling wine.
Rive (steep slope) instead is an expression of the uniqueness of the most “heroic” vineyards, the steepest and most unique vineyards of the entire appellation.
Asolo Prosecco DOCG is produced within the 19 municipalities that surround the medieval city of Asolo; its appellation was awarded in 2009.
Prosecco Doc Treviso and, in an even vaster area, Prosecco Doc are produced in the plain areas with different characteristics. The grapes from the first area are produced in 95 municipalities of the province of Treviso, whereas those from the second are from a new, vaster area which includes 556 municipalities between Veneto and Friuli

Why Valdobbiadene?

We were born and raised in Valdobbiadene. Our memories, our pride, our story have had deep roots in this territory for over a century.

This is why we think that the future is in Valdobbiadene Docg and for this reason, we have chosen to omit the word Prosecco from all our Valdobbiadene wines with the goal of transmitting the uniqueness of an unparalleled product and territory.

ANTIQUE VINES

Guardians of this territory for over a century.

In 1918, our great-grandfather Bepi planted the first vine and started cultivating the family vineyard in the Cartizze area. This was the beginning our story as winegrowers. Today, thanks to his legacy and the family’s knowledge and patience, we protect the still numerous antique vines scattered in our vineyards, which we consider our priceless heritage.
